Inside Sales and Business Development

Imperx, Inc., a leading International manufacturer of Machine Vision Cameras and Frame Grabbers for Industrial, Medical, Military and Scientific use, is seeking to immediately fill a vacancy for an Inside Sales and Business Development person.

This position requires an organized, highly motivated, results-oriented individual.

Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Prior experience in technical sales or an applications engineering role with customer and Sales Channel partner interaction a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily communication with and active management of Multi-National Distributor network
  • Identifies, prospects, and secures business opportunities to support new revenue growth
  • Travel is required throughout the United States and to a lesser extent to Europe and Asia to support Distributors and call on prospective clients to solicit business
  • Documents internal sales activities and that of the Distribution Channel

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of sales experience required
  • CRM experience required
  • Technical knowledge of PCs, PCI/PCI Express, and peripherals and industrial cameras
  • Experience selling to the military & defense market a plus

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission plan
